Add Cleanpull to your iPad Home Screen

The Cleanpull coach web app can run from your iPad Home Screen and notify you when an athlete sends a message or finishes a session. Push notifications require iPadOS 16.4 or later. Add Cleanpull as a web app before enabling them—an ordinary Safari tab cannot receive web push notifications on iPad.

For the full coaching workspace, use the web app with your iPad in landscape orientation.

Add the web app

1. Open Safari and go to web.cleanpull.app.
2. Sign in to your Cleanpull coach account.
3. Tap the Share button beside the address bar, tap More, then choose Add to Home Screen.
4. Turn on Open as Web App and tap Add.
5. Return to the Home Screen and open Cleanpull from its new icon. Sign in again if asked.

The icon is added only to this iPad. Repeat these steps on each iPad where you want to use the web app or receive notifications.

Enable push notifications

1. Open Cleanpull from its Home Screen icon, not from Safari.
2. Open Settings → Notifications.
3. Under Push alerts in this browser, choose Enable notifications.
4. Choose Allow in the iPad permission prompt.
5. Confirm that Push alerts shows On, then turn Session completed and Athlete messages on or off as needed.

Notifications can appear on the Lock Screen and in Notification Center according to your iPad notification and Focus settings.

If notifications are blocked or missing

• Open the iPad Settings app, choose Notifications, select Cleanpull (or the name you gave the web app), and turn on Allow Notifications.
• Make sure you launch Cleanpull from the Home Screen icon. The notification option is not available in a regular Safari tab.
• Return to Cleanpull → Settings → Notifications and confirm that Push alerts shows On and the alert type you want is enabled.
• If one athlete’s messages are missing, open that athlete’s conversation and check whether the thread is muted.
• Update iPadOS if Enable notifications does not appear in the installed web app.

Removing the Home Screen app stops notifications on that iPad. Adding it or enabling alerts on one device does not enable them on another.
