Track injuries
Athletes track injuries from Train. Coaches see active injuries on the athlete’s Readiness tab, with a pain chart, the athlete’s notes and the exercises in the current program that load the injured area.
Cleanpull records what you report. It does not diagnose. If something hurts, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Track an injury
Section titled “Track an injury”Open Train and choose Track injury in the Injuries section, or choose Hurt something? Track an injury in the workout summary after you finish. The section stays on Train while a workout is in progress, so you can track something the moment it happens. Then:
- Tap each area that hurts on the body map. The dots mark the elbows, wrists, hips and groin. Switch to Back for the other side.
- Choose Next and rate the pain from 1 to 10. 1 means you barely notice it, 10 is the worst you can imagine.
- Say when it started (Today, Yesterday or a date) and whether it Came on suddenly or Built up over time.
- If you track it during or after a workout, pick the exercise it happened on. Leave it empty if you aren’t sure.
- Add a note about what happened. Your coach sees it.
- Choose Save injury.
The injury appears in the Injuries section on Train and on your coach’s Readiness tab. You can track it offline. It syncs as soon as you’re back online.
Rate it with each check-in
Section titled “Rate it with each check-in”Each active injury gets a row in the post-workout check-in. Rate the pain, say whether you Trained as normal, Trained around it or Couldn’t train, and add a note if something changed. The check-in saves the injury ratings together with your effort, joint soreness and enjoyment.
On a day without a workout, Train asks about your active injuries once when you open it. Choose Not now to skip it until tomorrow.
Cleanpull keeps one rating per injury per day. Rating the same day again replaces the earlier rating.
Review and mark healed
Section titled “Review and mark healed”Tap an injury in the Injuries section to open it. The sheet shows the pain now, the change against last week, the pain over time and your notes. Choose Update today to rate it again, or Mark healed once it no longer bothers you. A healed injury stops being asked about and moves to your healed list.
If the pain has stayed at 7 or more for a week, or has risen over two weeks, the sheet suggests getting it looked at.
Choose Injury log to see every injury you have tracked on a body map and a timeline, including healed ones and how long each one took.
What your coach sees
Section titled “What your coach sees”Open an athlete from Roster and choose Readiness. The Injuries card shows:
- A body map with each active injury coloured by its latest pain rating.
- One row per active injury with its start date, when it was last rated, a trend and a Recurring tag when the same area was injured in the last 60 days.
- For the selected injury, the pain over time, how many days the athlete trained around it or couldn’t train, up to three recent notes and the exercises in the current program that load that area.
The readiness verdict names the worst active injury, and the athlete’s Readiness row on the phone shows the count of active injuries.
Choose Injury log at the foot of the card to see the full log, including healed injuries. On the phone it opens as a screen. On desktop it opens as a dialog.
